Safety testing on our TecnoFlex flexible liner

This is because all our products undergo stringent safety tests. The brief video shows the range of 5 tests we do on all flexible products, which ensures that the product you use is reliable and fully tested.

TecnoFlex is made from corrosion resistant 316L stainless steel. TecnoFlex Plus is also CE Certified to EN1856-2 TUV 0036 CPR 9195 035.

Tecnoflex is made from type 316L steel, which is an austenitic chromium-nickel stainless steel. It contains around 2% to 3% percent molybdenum. Molybdenum is a chemical element which increases corrosion resistance and increases strength at high temperatures. which is ideal for chimney flues. This particular grade of steel is also very effective in protecting against corrosion caused by acids, as well as acid sulphates and alkaline chlorides.

TecnoFlex Plus is also available in type 904L steel, which has the addition of copper, which gives improved corrosion resistant properties. It also has a high resistance to pitting in and high resistance in stress corrosion cracking.
