(Washington, Tyne and Wear, 31. May 2017) ICS 5000 was the chosen flue for the generators at the Royal Liverpool University Hospital which was completed early last year.

The generators used were made by Cummins. The contractor in charge of the construction using Schiedel Chimney Systems was Crown House.
ICS 5000 is a multi-functional Twin Wall Insulated Venting System, which is used for a wide range of heating appliances, stand-by power engines, CHP and service ducting.

It features a sleeve joint with integral pressure gasket and locking band for quick assembly, as well as lateral strength, assured insulation continuity, easy condensate drain down. The pressure seal on outer case is protected by insulation for longest life. The locking band gasket provides additional security, and the inner liner free to expand.
