Cross-section dimensioning

The appropriate chimney cross-section, together with the effective chimney height, ensures the necessary discharge pressure of the heat generator and the extraction of flue gases via the roof to the outside in the event of negative pressure in the chimney. In conjunction with well-dimensioned thermal insulation, it ensures a high flue gas temperature at the chimney outlet. However, Schiedel also attaches great importance to the cross-sectional dimensioning of the chimney system from the outset for reasons of economic efficiency.

Our solution

The results of each calculation for fireplaces up to 30 KW nominal heat output are available to you as a PDF. You can configure systems for fireplaces with a nominal heat output of over 30 KW and for solid fuel fireplaces independent of room air and send them directly to our application technology department using the online tool.
